MUCH DAMAGE DONE. (By Telegraph—Press AisocifttloS ,1 Holiltlka, January 11. Heavy rain in the past few days has caused considerable damage in the Kanieri Lake and Humphries districts. On Saturday night the Ross GoldfieluV water race was carried away for several chains by the hillside. It will take several days to repair the damage, and in the meantime electric power is stopped. The borough water pipes also carried away as the result of the approaches to the bridge at Coal Creek being washed out. The pipes were renewed early this morning. On the Blucspur-Hum-phreys Road considerable damage is reported to roads and culverts.
