THE WEARIN' O' THE KILT
DISCUSSED BY THE LORDS. (Reo. January 11, 5.55 p.m.) London, January 10. During the Army debate in the House of Lords, Baron Moncrieff complained that the Scottish regiments were no longer provided with tartan kilts. Lord Lucas explained that the War Office had been temporarily unable to get sufficient-tartan. What really constituted a kilt was a highly technical matter upon which the different clans had never been brought to agree.— ("Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services.)
