MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
PROBABLE CANDIDATES. The next municipal elections take place in April, and already the public are speculating as to Mayoral and Council candidates. The United Labour Party intends nominating candidates for • the council, and the Social-Democratic Party, also, intends to take a hand. 1 The candidates, mentioned for the Mayoralty are: The present; Mayor, Mr! J. P. Lulce; Mr. G. Erost, a member of the present City Council; and Mr. H-. Fletcher, who, also, is now a momber of the City Council. It is understood that the Social-Democratic Party will run a candidate for the Mayoral chair.
