I Dunedin, January 8. ] Sue Pea, alias Sue Ohong, was charg- i ed at the Police Court with having been found in possession of opium in a form suitable for smoking. The police stated that accused arrived from Timaru last night, with nine tins of opium, consigned by himself to himself. The goods were claimed by him this morning, and the detectives arrested him. It is understood the opium was obtained from a ship lying at Timaru upon , which part of the crow were Chinamen. ,» Accused was remanded to Timaru. ] r ~ ~ t
