Speaking in the House of Lord?, Lord Curzon deolared that the Germans were inspired with a bravery equal to our own. Lord Kitchener, in reply to questions, said that the six new armies now organising included the Indians, but exoluded the colonials, who are not yet sufficiently trained. Arrangements ara being made to keep up the strength of the depleted Indian units. During the debate there were strong complaints against the Government's leniepoy towards aliens, particularly in the prohibited areas. The captain of the Formidable, in ordering other vessels not to stand by, owing to submarines, acted in a manner worthy of the highest traditions of the Navy .
