January 9, 0.30 a.m.) Rgttsrcjam, January 8. . The. "Nieuwe Courant" emphatically denies that Cardinal Mercier and other priests were arrested or watched. ' The Antwerp arose through a messenger who Drought the infarmation that Cardinal Mercier would not offioiate at Antwerp, adding: -'Two sentries are posted at the, Archjepiscopal Palace."-
