It is said there are not many green spots un Hawke's Bay just now, but Woodville ! district is reported to be beautifully verdant. 1 A charming picture unfolds itself from the grandstand on the, Woodville Racecourse, and the patrons of the Woodville Show on Wednesday, January 27-, will be rewarded by the sight of a green, restful landscape, nestling in the embrace of the hills. ■ The landscape will not be the only attraction, for excellent exhibits of stock'are assured, and an attractive programme of horse and pony events, and two motor-cycle races wiil provide an exciting afternoon's entertainment.
