q. Tlio concert presented by Miss V. Muollor to tho: men of' the sen at tho Sailors' Friend Society last night was well rccoivcd by a largo audience, and oncoros woro frequent.; Sir. Mooro, missioner, spoko 011 tomperanco,' and several signed tho pledgo. Ho also announced tho quarterly salo of 'work for February, and pleaded for gifts. Tho competitions produced novelties of an amusing nature. Tho performers'wero Madame Muollor, the Missos Mucllor, Halliburton, ! hud Fairclough, and Messrs. Travors, Galloway, Miller, and Cnssidy (R.M.S. Kia Ora). Miss Bbllworthy was tho accompanist. Ohocrs wore given at tho .close,
