WILD SHOOTING
BATTLESHIP DAMAGED (Reo. January 3, 3 p.m.)' Rome, January 2. During the confusion caused by the French submarine Circe's attack on Pola. the fort shelled and badly damaged the battleship Radetzky. The commander committed suicide. The Circe attempted .to penetrate into Pola Harbour, and foulod a protective net. Two shots struck her, and she sank. The Radetzky is' a - battleship of 14,226 tons,.'built in 1911. Her armament consists of four 12in. guns, oight. 9.4 in., and twenty 3.9iri.
