Westport, December 26. ■ The first day of the Westport Trotting Club's Midsummer Meeting was held in fine weather. There was a large attendance, and J85704 was put through the totalisator, as compared with .£4533 on the first day last year. The results are:— MAIDEN HANDICAP.
