A PLEA FOR SIR JOSEPH WARD.
Sir,—l road with great interest in your issue of Saturday, Decomber 19, a lettor oil tile liolitical situation. I would like to ask the writer to explain how ho can expect tlio people of tho Dominion to acccpt Mr. Massey as Prime Minister when lie is in the minority by 21,000 votes, to Sir Joseph Ward and his party, by his own figures, as tho serai Labour members aio pledged to support Sir Joseph Ward. Now, Sir, as Sir Joseph Ward stands with a majority of 21,000 votes supporting him, it is Mr. Massey's duty t<> call T'fti'linment Utßfthor, ;unl hand over the country's .business to Sir
Joseph Ward and let him form a Cabinet from all sections of the House. As Sir Josopli Ward ropresents all classes of tho peoplo I am sure all voters will agree with me by placing Sir Joseph W.ard as 1 nine Minister. I quite agree with the writor as to i doing away with party politics. I think my suggestion will do away with party politics lor over.—l am, etc., FAIR PLAY.
