Competition was somewhat irregular for.merinos, but crossbreds were in good demand, and practically, all were sold. Compared with October rates, Australian merino combings averaged a penny lower, clothing crossbred combings a halfpenny lower, New Zealand fine medium combing olothing, e. farthing lower, while prices for coarse were unchanged.
