NEWS OF THE GERMAN CRUISER CORMORAN

ARRIVAL AT GUAM Washington, December 15. The Navy Department has learned officially of tho arrival at Guam, in the Ladrone group, north, of New Guinea, of the German converted oruiser Cormoran (1640 tons, eight'4.l-inch guns). The commander was notified by the United States harbour authorities that the cruiser must leave within twentyfour hours or be interned. The Cormoran's whereabouts has been unknown eince she left Kiao-ohau. The captain of the Cormoran has d&oided to intern the vessel at Guam.
