BOWLS WELLINGTON CENTRE ANNUAL TOURNAMENT Mr. H. J. Palmer presided at a meeting of _ the Wellington Bowling Centre last night. CRICKET

SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVES. The Wellington Public Schools representative, team defeated the Hutt Valley representative Heam at Petone by an innings and 111 runs. Wellington scored 134 (Henderson 34, Erskiue 26, Humphries 21, Rhodes 18, Barclay 15). The Hutt team scored. 12 in the first innings, and 11 in the second innings. For Wellington. Farquhar took seven wickets for 6 runs, and France three wickets for 5 in the first innings, and Rhodes took nine for 4 runs and Prince one wicket for 3 runs in the second innings.
