London, December 14. ■The Times's" correspondent in North France says that the number of Territorials at the front ie much larger than is generally supposed. "The British Territorial has proved himself as fine a fighter as one would wish to meet. He shares with the Regulars a personal ascendancy over the Germans. The Territorials have been entrusted heavy work, and many axe now holdins trenches against superior odds: Their- high daring and fine enthusiasm act as a tonic to the Regulars when the latter are threatened with trench weariness. They fight with wonderful restraint and self-possession, arid are ■gaining the respect. of seasoned veterans."—"Times" and Sydney "Sun" Services. ' ' . "
