GRAIN MERCHANTS IN COURT. (By Msirraiih.-Rrew AssooiaMon.) Dunedin, December 14. The hearing of the action Waters, Ritchio and Co., grain, seed, and produce merchants, and Evans v. T. E. Shiel and Co., produce and grain merchants, claim for £751 damages for alleged libel, which was commenced on Friday, was concluded in the Supreme Court to-day. The jury gave a verdict for £75 for Waters, Ritchie and Co., and £37 10s. for Evans, with costs.
