ADELAIDE ELECTEIO CO. London, December 11. The Adelaide ISloctric Supply Company, Ltd., shows a profit of £50,357, of which the directors carry forward £10,815. The Melbourne Electric Supply Company's profit is £48,319. and the amount carried forward is £7819. •' The directors propose to increase the capital by 20,000 7 per cent, cumulative first preference shares, and 2000 ordinary one pound shares. If the shareholders approve, an issue of 75,000 ordinary shares at par will be made in February.
