SPIRIT OF THE REBELS BROKEN
SOUTH AFRICAN REVOLT CRUSHED (Rec. December 8, 5.10 p.m.) London, December 7. The Prime Minister (General Botha, who is also Commander-in-Chief of the war operations) reports that the spirit of the, rebels has been broken. The Government's demonstration of force has practically crushed the rebellion in the Free' State (Orange River Colony).
