YACHTING.
The Tβ Ruru Yacht Club held a race on Saturday for Mr. Schauer'e trophy, which was won by the Nomad, a new boat, built by Mr. E.- Bailey. Following ' were the handicaps:—Nomad (4min.), Rawene (lmin.), Trixie (2min.), Seabird (lmin.), Lizzie (lmin.). Hie finishing times were:—Nomad; 5.56 p.m.; Rawene, 6.1 p.m.; Trixie, 6.2 i p.m.; Seabird, 6.8 p.m.; Lizzie,-6J.3 p.m. ' . The Waimqa started, but did not finish. Muritai (ecr.) and Amai (smin.) did ndt finish.
