. ATTACK ON ZEPPELIN STRONGHOLD Paris, November 26. Details of the air raid at Priedrichshafen show that Squadron-Commander Brigga led the flight at a height. of 4550 ft. on Saturday along the Rhine to Scliaffausen, where Briggs, misled by fog, bore off to tho left. . Lieutenant Sippo and _ 'Plight-com-mander J. T. Babington, without seeing each other, followed tho Rhine. Sippe crossed Lake Constance just above the houses and fipw across the lake about 2yds. above the surface, invisible in the mist. When he reached Friedrichshafeu he sighted Briggs above him attacking the Zeppelin stronghold. Shrapnel was bursting round both aeroplanes. Sippo then dropped bombs on the sheds and workshops. Ho 6aw the workmen fleeing in panio. He alighted at the starting-point after three hours' flight. _ Babington alighted nearby. Meanwhile Briggß, who was wounded, used Ms revolver with effect. Mr. Winston Churchill, replying to a question, states that the naval aviators were instructed to attack the aircraft factory at Friedrichshafen, and to avoid neutral torritory.
