CREDITORS' MEETING.- ',',".'",' " (Bt ITeiesraiih—Prasa Afooolatlon.l '. 'Hotorua, November 26. The Count do Montaigu's creditors' meeting ended late last night. The. creditors'accepted an offer of two-local solicitors to pay the secured; creditor his debt of £550, and prove as ordinary, creditors. The bankrupt bad borrowed' £200 and £300 respectively,- neither knowing he had borrowed from tko other solicitor. On. discovering, it they got a third party to advance the bankrupt £550, transferring to liim securities wbich were valued considerably over £550. The. solicitors stated that the chief reason for their action was a desire t# get rid of De Montaign. The bankrupt's solicitor said he believed that De Montaigu's family would pay his debts in full. It was Tlecided to return to Gladys Squire, formerly known as Countess De Montaign, furs, lace, and i a ring included in Falloona's security, which' she claimed as hers.
