FIJIAN TROOPS FOR ACTIVE SERVICE
APPROVED BY THE BRITISH GOVERNMENT. Suva, November 26. The Secretary of State has approved of the offer of a Fiji contingent, which be suggests should join tho Australian or Now Zealand contingents. The Governor of Fiji has cabled to the Governors of tho Commonwealth and New Zealand offering fifty men for each contingent.
AUSTRALIA'S WAR RESOURCES. Melbourne,, November 26. Senator Pearce (Minister for Defence) states that Australia's .naval and military forces available for war total 164,631. The units completed and accented by the British Government totalled 28,258. AH tho men coming forward are stiir being enrolled. HIGH COMMISSIONER VISITS THE GUN WORKS. London, November 25. The Hon. T. W. Mackenzie, High Commissioner for New Zealand in London, visited the lending gun works at Sheffield and Manchester, and presided at 5v recruiting meeting in Manchester'.
