INCIDENT OP THE SERVIAN CAMPAIGN ; Nlsh, November 24. Five Austrian monitors were in the habit of -shelling the trenches on the banks of the Save. Servian shells fell on the monitors, but did no harm. ■ Eight soldiers then volunteered to lay a mine. They boarded a flaMjottomed fishing-bout and in the darkness escaped the notice of the Austrian snipers on the opposite bank. When the monitors returned oh their next visit the leading vessel struck the mine, exploded, and Eank.
