Mr. Winston. Churchill has announced that aeroplanes under Commander E. F. Briggs, with Flight-Commander J. T. Sidney V. Sippe as pilots, flew from France to Friedrichshafen. . All three successively flew down at close range under a heavy fire from guns, maohine guns, and rifles, and launched 'bombfi, seriously damaging a Zeppelin factory. Commander Brings is in hospital wounded and s, prisoner. The others returned safely, though their machines were damaged by gunfire.- , , ■ The night was of 250 miles, penetrating 120 \miles into Germany, across mountainous country and in difficult Weather. It was a fine feat of aviation. teVHRY. BOMB HIT THE. MARK. (Reo. November 25, 0.60 aim.)' \ ' London, November 24.' The four hundred men employed at Friedxioh&hafcii had been turning out a Zeppelin every three weeks. The Admiralty account adds: "The aviators report positively that all their bombs: reached their. objcctive." Amsterdam, November 24. "De Tijd", states that one aeroplane made seven attacks on the Zeppelin factory. Gunfire forded it to retire, but it returned, and threw a bomb. A NARROW ESCAPE. Calais, November 23. Airmen who were flying over, the German lines had a narrow escape. ' The left wing of their aeroplane was pierced by a snot at a height of 6000 feet. GERMAN BOMB-DROPPERS. (Reo. November 24, 10.20 p.m.) Paris, November 24. A German aeroplane dropped bombs over Baillienl (in Belgium), killing three British wounded who were in an ambulance. v
