Alfred Leonard Cobb, a'youth of 16, was'found guilty at the Supreme Court, before Mr. Justice Hosking, of indecent assault upon a girl of six years. On a second charge_ of a similar _ nature against Cobb in connection with' an-, other child, the jury failed to agree, despite'tlie fact that the Judge, in summing up, directed the' jury to return a verdict of not guilty on the "grounds of insufficient corroboration. A new trial has been ordered. ,
