EXPORT OF DAIRY PRODUCE
• Owing to tlie satisfactory shipping arrangements that have been mad©,' ■ large quantities of butter-will be ex-, ported from tho Auckland Province be•fore the end of-tho year (says the '.'Star"). Thero lias . already been a- . large increase in the export for this year, and tho Rakaia will next Monday commence loading 40,000 more boxes for London,. bringing the total quantity exported this season up to 141,084 • boxes. Of this amount, 124,175" boxes have'been shipped to London. This .quantity alone exceeds tho number of boxes exported last year to all parts of the world.- There are at present '60,000 boxes in Auckland awaiting shipment, and further large quantities are still coming forward. The lonic and "Waiwera will load 55,000 boxes before Christmas to bo' exported to London, while the I'ongariro, Buteshire, and iMamari will also take large quantities. 'The first', shipment from Auckland to London this season was taken by tho liemuera,-and arrived at its destination ! on November 8 but no official information as to whether the 1 butter has beep sold has yet conio to hand., ■
