A telegram from Valparaiso states that the German cruisers Dresden and Leipsig liave been joined by three other warships, believed to include the Sdiarnhorst and the Gneisenau. They all hoisted tie Japanese flag. THE SEA' FIGHT. OFF ,VALPARAISO!-GEEMAN. 'ACCOUNT. London, November 15. The German official version of the naval engagement off the Chilian coast says that the German cruiser Nurnberg fired at a range 'of 10,400 metres, and silenced the British ships within fifty-two minutes. The report does not mention the Schamhorst or other German vessels as having taken part in the fight. ~ , •. AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES, IN THE EMDEN FIGHT. \ . Melbourne, November 16. The Navy Office has issued a later list of the Sydney's casualties, as follows:— Slightly wounded: Petty-officer Harvey, Seamen Hooper, .Williamson, and Stevenson. . .. • Wounded: Seamen Kinniburgh, Green, and Crosby. Soveraly wounded: Seaman Horno. These are in addition to the four cabled previously. Killed: Potty Officer Lynch, Seamon Hoy, 8011, and Sharp. A KONIGSBERG INCIDENT. OFF. MADAGASCAR. ParlSj November 15. A message from Madagascar states that tlie German cruiser Konigsberg demanded the surrender of Majunga (on the north-west coast of Madagascar). The commander of the town replied that he held 20 Germans as hostages, and that pne head would fall for eacli shot the Konigsberg fired. Thereupon the Konigsberg disappeared. REPORTED SINKING OF. GERMAN SUBMARINE. Calais, ■ November 15. The newspapers state that a. French torpedo-boat entered Dunkirk, on Friday and reported the ramming and sinking of a German submarine off Westeiide, a few miles west of Ostend.
