SWIMMING.
The Worser Bay Swimming and LifeSaving Club opened its season at Worser Bay on Saturday afternoon. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr. J. Brodic. The Maranui, Island Bay, and Thorndon Clubs were represented at the gathering, and gave a life-saving exhibition.' A 50yds. race was contested, and resulted! as follows:—H. Silver (scr.), 1; L.
