A BRUTAL REVENGE
GERMAN OUTRAGE AT ROULERS (Rec. November 11, 9.15 p.m.) Paris, November 10. French' cavalry ambushed a party of Germans at Houlers, and the Germans afterwards accused the inhabitants of connivance. They shot down fortythree of the civilians, burnt many of tlio houses, factories and mills, and fined the town ono hundred thousand francs.. When tho fino was paid, the Germans doubled it.
