■ — *TA race under the auspices of the Hutt Valley Homing Pigeon Society was flown . from Napier on Saturday, with the following resulte:—Mr. C. Gough's "True Blue," time shr. 57min. 40sec., velocity 806.85yd5. per minute, 1; Mr. H. Booth's "Red Peony," time 6hr. 3min. 40sec., velocity 795.15 yards per minute, 2; Mr. J. Br-amwoll's "Macaroni," time 6hr. sSmin. 55see., 3. Next week an "interval''' race will he flown from Napier. The aggregate points to date are: Whitehead and, Booth, 15; C. Gougli, 15; It. Booth, 12.
