WEEK-END MATCHES. KARORI RIFLE CLUB. The Karori Rifle Club continued its practice, matches at Trent'ham en Saturday, over ranges 300 and 600 yards. Marksmen had to contend with a tricky south-easter, and not too good a light. New members are: teradually improving, and a number or them show distinct promise. Saturday afternoon for trophies presented by Major A. S. Biss, Colonel Cooper, Major Davy, and the Club. The conditions were: Nine shots at each 600 and 600 yards. SUBURBS CLUB. The Suburbs Rifle Club held their v usual week-end shoot on Saturday afternoon at tho range, "Broadway," Miramar. They are holding the Wednesday afternoon's shooting in conjunction with their Saturday shooting, as last year. Any intending members wishing to participate in a pleasant Wednesday afternoon's sport with tho rifle should apply to Mr. J. L. Turner, Cuba Street, for information. The shooting on Saturday was fair, the weather conditions being not very good for large scores. H Gawith's score of 90 was good under tho conditions. Shooting will bo continued on Wednesday and Saturday as usual, and all new members are requested to put in an appearance on the range. Scores:—
