AEROPLANE ATTACK ON THE KAISER (Rec. November 8, 12.15 p.m.) Amsterdam, November 7. Six aeroplanes participated in an attack on Thielt, aimed at the Kaiser, who, 'huvever, escaped. About twenty civilians were killed. ... Paris, November 6. The Kaiser arrived at a tavern in Thielt at 5 o'clock on Sunday evening. After dining, instead-of retiring to his room, he motored to the other end of the town.
Twenty minutes'later, six bombs fell on the tavern. They killed two aides, and destroyed tho Kaiser's baggage. Thielt is in. West Flanders, 27 miles west of Gheiit, and about the samfe distance east of Dixudc. AVIATOR .WRECKS A GERMAN BIG GUN. .-.'..' Paris, November 6. . A French aviator dropped a bomb on the'railway at Blandly,- preventing several Germans trains regaining the lines'. French Dragoons were sent out to take prisoners, and found that the bomb had wrecked a 17-iuch gun, which required six trucks for its conveyance. Each shell for the gun weighed almost a ton. A SERIES OF FATALITIES. Paris, November 6. Captains Enemy and Faure, two distinguished aviators, were killed through their machine falling on to the roof of a house' at Issyles 1 Moulineaux (a suburb of Paris). Amsterdam, November. 6. Mr.-Busk, an aviator of the aircraft factory, was testing 'a biplane at Aldershot when the machine- burst into flames, and glided a mile to the earth. Busk was incinerated.
