MR. A. SZENES'S VIOLIN CONCERTS.
Mr. A. Szenes, who has been violinteaching in Wellington for several years past, will present his pupils in a public concert at the Concert Chamber, Town Hall, on Saturday evening next. The concert will be under the patronage of His Worship the Mayor and tne Mayoress. .This year the entire proceeds are being donated to the Mayor's War Distress Fund. An excellent classical programme has been arranged, the most attractive items being the "Overture to !i Midsummer Night's Dream" (Mendelssohn), and Mondelssohn's "Concerto in E Minor." Rubinstein's (the celebrated Russian composer) "Romance in E Flat" will bo performed by Master' Eric Meier.
