THE ELECTORAL ROLLS. ' 'A question about the facilities.offored for putting people on the electoral rolls of the Dominion was asked in tho House of Representatives yesterday by Mr.'D. Buiclc, of Palmerston. ' Mr. ,• Buiok asked generally what measures were being taken to have the names of people qualified to vote put-011 the rolls. The Hon. F. M.,8. Fisher said there wis nothing to prevent people being enrolled; or to prevent people putting themselves on the roll. Forms were sent to them which the.v were asked to sign, 4ind if thoy refused to sisn the'Depart,ment, could not make ,them. . Sir Joseph Ward: Tho trouble is 'that people are being struck off the rolls who voted at last election. I Mr. Fisher: That occurred last time. Mr Poland: Never so bad. A Fisher: You were in Opposition last timo. That makes all tho difference. ■:'' ■
