—p - — A PAINFUL ACCIDENT. A painful accident wag sustained by a man. named P. Flynn yesterday while he was working for Messrs. J. O'Brien and, Co., carriers, at 343 Adelaide Road. He was caught Dy a sling rope in the arm, the muscles of which were ripped up to as far as the shoulder. He. was taken to the, Hospital, where he was reported la6t night to be progressing favourably. ' A TROOPER INJURED. . At about 10 o'clock last night a trooper named Bernard, Rush was admitted, to 'the Hospital from tie camp at Trentliam suffering from a fractured knee. ■ > A LACERATED HAND. ; , ' . A man named Bartlett was admitted to the Hospital yesterday suffering from a. badly laceratcd hand. KILLED "WHILST BUSHFELLING. (By ToUgraph —Press Association.) 1 Cisborne, November 4. Douglas White, aged 35, iwas killed whilst bushfelling at Toltomaru Bay. Ho had started a drive, and was not missed for half an hour, and it was then found he was dead, having evident- ' 1 ly been killed instantaneously.
