Princess Henry of Battenburg: Myself," my Government,' and the people of New Zealand. desire to send our respectful sympathy to you in the death of your. gallant-son.", The reply received from the Colonial Secretary is:—!' Your telegram of October- 30 communicated to H.R.H. Princess Henry of Battenberg, who is very grateful for the expression of sympathy. —(Signed) iHarcourt."
