The heat wave has returned to a greater part of the continent; 96 degrees was registered in Sydney, which is the October record since 1900. Storms and bush fires are considerably damaging the crops. .(Rec. November 1, 3.10 p.m.) Sydney, November 1. The heat wave continues in New South Wales, but useful rains in South Australia and Victoria portend a change. BUSH FIRE TRAGEDY. Adelaide, October 31. Three adult sons of Mr. Reimann, a settler of Loxton, were caught by a ,bush fire and were fatally burned. : VALUABLE FIND OF MINERAL ORE. Sydney, October 81.
