GEORGE AND GEORGE CLUB. i The annual meeting of the George and George Cricket Club was held on Tuesday evening, and was presided over by Mr. L. George. The thanks of tho club aro due to Messrs. George and George, Mr. J. M'Eldowney, Mr. C. G. Wilson, and Mr. Stone for donations rind trophies given last season. • The club were congratulated on. winning the Wednesday 'Junior Cricket Association Championship, also the "Winder Cup." The election of officers for the ensuing year was as follows:—President, Mr. Jacob M'Eldowney; vicenresidents, Messrs. Alex. M'Eldowney, C G. Wilson, Stone, Mollinson, Fox, Seville, Paget, Lepper, Jones, Roberts, T. Macky, Morish, . Brown, Kinvig, Caterer, Rushbrook, Keith, B. Van S'tavoren, A. A. Eleven new members have joined the club this season. The meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the chairman. WAREHOUSEMEN'S ASSOCIATION. Mr. A. Simm presided at tho annual meeting,of delegates to the Wellington Warehousemen's Cricket Association held last night. Tho annual report and balance-sheet were adopted. The report stated that the season 1913-1914 had been a very successful one, the contest for the Kernot Cup heing an interesting one. The secretary would like to impress • upon the club. secretaries the necessity of advis- ■ ing .him promptly of the results of ' their .-games, and the advisability of sending reports to the papers. It is ' hard to say how tho war will affect the ! association, but it is ho_ped that mem- ] bers will make every effort to carry 'on, ' ;and if they do this a successful season ] should be assured. ' ! A credit balance of £20 12s. Bd. was ' shown by 'the balance-sheet, and the \ assets were shown as £42 19s. Bd., and tho liabilities nil. .
