TIMARU TO CIiIUSTCHURCH. (By Telegraph.—l'ress Association.) Timaru, October 24. The cycle road race, Timaru to Christchurch, < started at 9.20 a.m., forty-throo riders taking part. The weather is warm and tho roads in splendid order. Christoh'jrch, October 24. . .The contest was won by F. A. Sutherland, of Timaru, from tlie 25min. mark, whilst fastest time was again established by P. O'Shea, of Christchurch. Results:— (1) P. A. Sutherland, Timaru (2o mill.), actual riding time, 6hrs. lOmin. 42sec.; (2) D. M'Kenzie,' Timaru (28 min.), Ghrs. 14min. 52sec.; (3) 1\ Hill, Eltliam (21min.), Glirs. 12min. 32sec.; (4) P.
