PETONE COURT
Mr. V. G. A. Cooper, S.M., presided at the monthly sitting of the Potona Magistrate's Court on Wednesday. Mark Parr, who was charged with entering a billiard' saloon, while being under the age of 21 years, was fined 55., with costs 7s. Lawton Little, pleaded guilty to a charge of procuring liquor during the currency of a prohibition order, and was lined 20s. with costs 75., in default thra:: days "fir-gaol. Richard Hoare, who procured liquor for Little, stated that, he wae unaware that Littlo was a prohibited person. He was fined lis., with costs 7s. Alf. 0. Bolton, for whom' Mr. H. F. Ayson appeared, pleaded not guilty, to falsely representing himself to be 21 years of ago in order to procure liquor. Defendant was fined 205., with costs amounting to 9s. In the judgment summons case, P. C. Freeth v. W. A. Saminons, a claim for £7 65., defendant was ordered to pay the amount by November 20, in default one month in gaol. William Mills was' ordered to pay Short and'Frascr (agents for George Jones) the sum of £4 Is. in instalments of 2s. Cd. per week.
