fFrom Oar Bpeolal Correspondent.) At the Hope- of Petone Lodge, I T.0.G.T., on Wednesday, the following officers were elected:—Bro. Rose, C.T.; Sis. Job, V.T.; Bro. Montgomery, secretary; Bro. Hume, financial secretary j Bro.. Kinsley, trensuror; Sis. Moore, chaplain; Bro. Kinsley, marshal; Sis. Laurence, guard; Sis. Brian, sentinel; Sis. Bain, pianist; Sis. Job, registrar; Bros. Hume and Montgomery, reporters ; Sis. Andrew, P.C.T. Sisters Brian, Moore, Laurence, Andrews, Bain, and Job were appointed the harmony committee. The installation of the above .vill take place next week,.when an initiation competition will be held, 'the, judges to be Bros. Thompson, Rigarlsforu, and Rose. The Petone branch of the W.O.T.U. was entertained on Wednesday at an "at home" given by Mrs. E. Corner, at her residence. Mrs. Rowse ' presided, and addresses on No-License work wero delivered by Mrs. Adams, president Wellington W.C.T.U., Mrs. Franklyn, and Mr. H. Grinstead (seciotary Hutt No-License League), and musical items were contributed by Mesdames Hultquist and Braddock, and the Misses Coady, D. Corner, and H. Ashby.
