ESTATE AGENTS AND AUCTIONEERS
WELLINGTON ASSOCIATION. The first annual mooting of the Wellington Land Agents' and Auctioneers' Association was held in the Accountants' Chambers last night. Mr. A. T. Bate presided over an attendance of fourteen members. The annual report and balance-sheet, already published, were adopted. Mr. N. M'Leod moved: "That tiro executive forward the proposed amendments of < the Dominion Conference to the present Land Agents Bill to all candidates as members of Parliament in the Wellington Provincial District, with tlio request thev should.support there; also that the other associations be notified of this action and be asked to adopt a similar course in their districts."
The motion was lost on a show of hands.
. Tlio executive was instructed to delete from tho membership roll three members who bad failed to pay their subscriptions. Officers were elected as follow for tho misuing year:—President, Mr. A. T. Bate; vice-presidents, Messrs. W. S. Bonnett and L. H. B. Wilson; to fill racancics on the committee, Messrs. H. E. Leighton, J. T. Home, J. Fanning, Gillatly, and S. G. Nathan; auditor, Mr. E. N. Hunt
