TWO FAREWELL LECTURES. Sir Douglas Mawson, the famous Aus-' tralasian Antarctic explorer, has been enabled, through tho Rua-hine not sailing until Saturday, to announce two farewell lectures to-night aiid to-mor-row night at the Grand Opera House. •His wonderful moving pictures ■ and unique Polar scenes will again be used to. illustrate his thrilling story. Sir Douglas. and Lady Mawson leave on October 24 for London, after which Sir Douglas will undertake a. two months'., lecturing tour through America. ,whore people are keenly interested in the Australasian Expedition which ho led from 1911 to 1914.
