SAILORS FRIEND SOCIETY

The Sailors' Friend Society Institute was crowded with an appreciative audience last evening, when- Mr Pat.. Fitzgerald provided an entertainment. Mr. J. Moore, missioner, occupied the chair. The programme wae contributed to by the following :—-Messre. Fitzgerald, 0. Warren, W. Cooper, Petersen, Connors, W. Goudie, Eller, Keeny, L. Handon, and Eliot. Mr. H. Peterson played the accompaniments. Sevoral popular choruses were sung by the audience, and a mouth organ' competition was won by Mr. Ray (R.M.S, Ruahine). The performers were accorded' a hearty vote .of thanks. ■
