-« rFOUND DROWNED. An inquest was held by Mr, D, G. A. Cooper S.M., yesterday afternoon, into the death or Edward Espada. a ship's fireman on tho Maungau-ui, whose body was found floating in the harbour near the Railway Wharf last Friday. Espada: was last seen sitting asleep, on the edge of the Railway Wharf on September 23 last. A verdict was returned by the Coroner that Espada was "found drowned. 'Dowding, an elderly man, wa3 knocked down by a motor-cycle last evening and subsequently died in the Hospital. At the' inquest to-day it was stated that deceased was a commission agent and a married man- A verdict of accidental death was returned. BODY FOUND AT MASTERTON. (By Telegraph— Special Correspondent.) Master ton, October 20. Tho body of a young man has been found in the Whareama River. It had evidently been iu the water for somo months, and is unrecognisable.
