SUNK GERMAN DESTROYERS
BERLIN OFFICIAL ADVICES IDENTITY OF THE VESSELS (Reo. October 20, 1.30 a.m.) Amsterdam, October 19. Berlin official advices confirm the sinking of the German destroyers Sll6, Sll7, Sllß, and Sll9 off the Dutch coast.' It is .reported that they bombarded the Belgian lightship off Zeebrugge Pier. A Dutch warship rescued tho crews. The German destroyers mentioned were built in 1902-3. They were of 350 tons displacement and 6000 horsepower, with,a speed of 29.2 knots. Their armarieut consisted of three torpe'do tubes and three 3-pounder guns. They each carried a complement of 49 men. THE TJNDAUNTED'S CAPTAIN. London, October IS. Captain Fox, of the light cruiser Undaunted, which led the attack on tho four German destroyers sunk off the Ihitch coast, was formerly in command of the Amphion, which was sunk early in August. The Undaunted left Harwich yesterday morning, and the engagement followed at the mouth of the Scheldt.
