EAST COAST TROOPS FARE. WELLED.

(By Telegraph.—Prese Association.) • V Napier, Ootober 19. The East 'Coast detachment of the Maori Contingent assqmbled in Napier this morning, and will leave for the training camp to-morrow morning. They were addressed briefly at the Drill Hall by Mr. A. T. Ngata, M.P., and then put in some hours of drill. A very large crowd attended tho public farewell on the Marine Parade this afternoon, when the Contingent paraded. Addresses were deliyered by the Mayor (Mr. J. Vigor Brown, M.P.), Messrs. Taranaki Tβ Ua, Eihn, .Hutana, Wi Pere, and Mr. A. T.. Ngata. A grand patriotic concert was given b'y the Maoris of the district in the evening.
