INCIDENT OF THE BATTLE OF AOGUSTOW. London, October 16. A "Daily Mail" correspondent, who daringly penetrated East Prussia, witnessed the 'fighting at Augustow. In ono case a troop of Cossacks, attacking the German batteries, collected sheep and cattle, and drove them to tho German entrenchmouts, and then charged their horses over tho platform of flesh, sabring the gunners in the trenches.
