IVON OVER BY A MOTDR-OAU. The inquest into the deatli of James Gillon, who was run over by Dr. Tol- ■ hurst's motor-car, in an alley-way in Coiirtenay Place on Friday evening last, and who died later at the Hospital, was concluded before Mr. D. G. A. Cooper yesterday afternoon, when a verdict was returned that deceased died at the AVellington Hospital from shock following on injuries received through being accidentally run over by Dr. Tolhurst's car. The Coroner added that not the slightest blame was attachable to Dr. Tothurst. BODY FOUND IN A RIVER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.)Wanganui, October 15. The body of a man which was discovered in tho river by fishermen this morning is belioved to be that of Frank Jeiferson, of Marton, aged between 41 and 43. It had apparently been in the water three weeks. DROWNED IN A WATER-RACE. Nelson, October 15. ■ A child named Guy Lightband, two years of. age, was drowned in a waterrace near his parents' residonco at Brightwater on Wednesday. Charles Goddard, who was admitted to the Hospital on Wednesday suffering from a razor gash in the throat, was reported from 'hat institution last night, to bo as well as could be expected. Goddard recently came to Wellington from Oiiga Hawke's Bay.
