OUTWARD STEAMERS
FOR THE DOMINION'S PRODUCTS. A great deal of anxiety has existed in lecent months as to the supply of ships likely to be available to oarry the produce of New Zealand, and especially frozen produce, in tho export season now opening. In response to inquiry from a firm of dairy produce exporters (in tW'north, the Prime Minister has supplied to Mr. J. A. Young, M.P., a list of the steamers available. As the following list shows, there should be no shortage of suitable steamers. Following aro the eieamers to sail:— hi October: Ruithino, Corinthic, i'akeha, and; in addition, Norchana will carry 22,000 carcasses. In November: Rotorua, Rakaia, Tainui, Zealaiidic, Star of Scotland.
In December: Turakina, Tongariro, lonic, Tokomani, Buteshire, ■ludrabarah. In.January: Otaki, "ffaimate, Whakatane, Somerset, Waiwera, Mamari, Kia Ora, Mivnixo, Star of New Zealand, ludrapura, Makarini, El Cordobes.
In addition to theso steamers, which are all fitted to carry frozen, cargo, the Mottisfont will be available for wool in December, and the Wirral in January. It is estimated that the steamers required in tho various months are as follow:—October 3, November 3, December 6, January 7.
